RULES OF TRAKAI HISTORY MUSEUM FOR PURCHASE AND USE OF E-TICKETS

 

I. GENERAL PROVISIONS

 

1. These Rules of Trakai History Museum (hereinafter - Museum) for Procedure for the Acquisition and Use e-tickets (hereinafter - Rules) establish the conditions for the acquisition, use and return of Museum tickets when a Museum visitor acquires tickets on the website https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/. Tickets for the Museum's exposition can be purchased on this exposition subdivisions: Trakai Island Castle Exposition (Karaimų St. 43 C, Trakai), S. Shapshal Karaite National Museum Exposition (Karaimų St. 22, Trakai), Sacred Art Exposition in the Chapel of the Former Dominican Monastery at territory of Trakai' Peninsula Castle (Kęstučio St. 4, Trakai), the exposition of Medininkai Castle (St.Kazimiero St. 2, Medininkai village, Vilnius district) and as well for the events organized in these units.

2. These Rules are an integral part of the ticket purchased by the Museum Visitor (hereinafter - the Visitor), which establishes the contractual obligations of the Visitor and the Museum.

3. Before purchasing a e-ticket, the Visitor must be familiar with the Rules and e-ticket data privacy policy, which are publicly announced on the website https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/ and which were publicly available to the Visitor and made available to him prior to the purchase of the ticket.

 

II. RULES FOR PURCHASING TICKETS AT https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/

 

4. When purchasing a ticket https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/, the Visitor must make sure that he / she has chosen the required date, categories of visitors, number of tickets, as well as duly indicated other required information. The Museum is not responsible for incorrect, inaccurate information provided by the Visitor during or after the booking and payment of tickets and their consequences, such as not receiving a ticket due to an incorrect email address.

5. Pre-school children (children under the age of six) do not need to be marked in the system when buying tickets. Pre-school children are admitted free of charge at the ticket office upon presentation of a document proving the child's age.

6. After selecting the tickets, the Visitor must enter the data required by the system (name, e-mail address, telephone number, country), check the cart information and, being convinced that it is correct, carefully read and agree to these Rules. If the Visitor does not agree with the Rules, he / she cannot purchase tickets online.

7. If You select the 'Invoice required' setting, an electronic invoice will be generated based on the personal or business information you provide. It will be sent in to the e-mail specified by the Visitor along with e. tickets.

8. Payment is made in the payment system www.paysera.lt. The payment methods offered include most Lithuanian banks' electronic banking services and credit cards.

9. Upon receipt of www.paysera.lt response on successful payment, will be sent to the Visitor e. tickets by email address specified by him.

 

III. RULES FOR USING TICKETS

 

10. Visitors to the Museum, its exposition subdivisions or to the events at the Museum, which can be entered after purchasing a ticket, are admitted only upon presentation of a valid ticket purchased at the Museum box office or on the website https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/.

11. Having purchased an electronic ticket and upon arrival at the Museum, the Visitor must provide a printed electronic ticket to the ticket office employee or exhibition service specialists or the barcode of the electronic ticket on a mobile device. The visitor is responsible for the mobile Internet and/or other means of opening each barcode.

12. A ticket is valid only for the purpose of the time, visit or event specified in it. A Visitor leaving the area covered by the Museum will not be admitted a second time with the same ticket.

13. If the ticket has been purchased at a discount, the Visitor must present an identity document or other document certifying the right to the discount upon the request of the ticket office staff or exposition maintenance specialists. If the Visitor is unable to provide such a document, he must pay the difference between the standard ticket price and the discounted ticket price at the ticket office of the Museum's exhibition subdivision.

14. The ticket is scanned and marked only once and is valid for one person only. The control devices show the date and time of the first scan. If the ticket is submitted for a second scan, then the Visitor will not be admitted.

15. The Visitor must keep the ticket and receipt (when purchasing at the ticket office) until the end of the visit to the Museum or the event.

16. Tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable unless except in cases where the visit was not possible or the event did not occur due to the fault of the Museum.

17. If the visit was not possible or the event did not occur due to the fault of the Museum:

17.1 purchased tickets can be returned only at the ticket office where they were purchased. In order to withdraw the paid money, it is necessary to present the purchased tickets and the purchase receipt;

17.2 Tickets purchased on the website https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/ can be returned after sending the application and e-ticket by e-mail address: info@trakaimuziejus.lt.

 

18. In order to provide online ticket distribution services, it is necessary for the Museum to process the personal data of the Visitor. The Museum collects, processes and stores all personal data of the Visitor in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation, the Law on Legal Protection of Personal Data of the Republic of Lithuania and other laws and legal acts regulating Visitors' rights and does not transfer them to any third parties, other legal acts or if it is necessary for the provision of the Museum's services, or if the Visitor expressly consents to the transfer of his / her personal data.

 

 

IV. INFORMATION OF THE MUSEUM VISITOR AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA

19. Upon reading these Rules, Visitors are informed that the personal data provided by them will be used for the purchase of tickets (for the implementation of the contractual relations of the parties).

20. An integral part of these Rules is the privacy policy approved by the Museum.

21. The Visitor purchasing the ticket may be offered consent to the use of his personal data for further information or direct marketing.

 

V. FINAL PROVISIONS

 

21. The Museum has the right to suspend or terminate the distribution of tickets on the website https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/ without separate notice.

22. The Museum has the right to amend or supplement these Rules. The amended Rules shall enter into force on the day of their publication on the website https://bilietai.trakaimuziejus.lt/.

23. The Law of the Republic of Lithuania shall apply to these Rules.

24. All disagreements arising from the implementation of these Rules shall be settled through negotiations. In case of failure to reach an agreement, disagreements shall be resolved in accordance with the procedure established by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania.
